Lynda Williams produces and performs original science media and musicals for both scientists and the general public. As The Physics Chanteuse, she has performed for such prestigious professional science organizations as the American Physics Society and the American Astronomical Society. She also performs for the general public in Cosmic Cabaret and Science Rave shows that she produces at the SF Planetarium Theater and at other venues. Ms. Williams has an MS in Physics, a BA in Mathematics and has completed post graduate studies in multimedia science pedagogy. She currently teaches physics and astronomy at SF State University and owns and operates a science media content company, Science Entertainment, which has recently released 2 multimedia CD's: Cosmic Cabaret and Maxwell's Equations.

Lynda's Physics Chanteuse and Cosmic Cabarets have attracted a flurry of media attention from the New York Times, the International Herald Tribune, The SF Chronicle, People Magazine, Evening Magazine, Good Morning America, the Osgood File, NPR's West Coast Live, To the Best of our Knowledge and KPFA's Explorations in Science. According to People Magazine, "Williams puts the fizz back in physics." Science Entertainment is co-owned and operated by Lynda and her sister, Bergen, who has a background in Chemistry and is a screenplay writer, actress and director. Together the Williams sisters have produced over a dozen stage and media projects on science themes. Their mission is to build a multimedia 'empire' that produces science media and products that are accessible, educational and entertaining. Lynda and Bergen are dedicated to promoting scientific literacy and a citizen science that is inclusive and socially responsible.
