In addition to promoting study and careers in science and technology, Science Rave shows encourage kids to learn math and science so they can exercise their growing brains and sharpen their mental "chops." Science Rave also motivates science 'citizenship' in students. From global warming to HIV, from nuclear waste to overpopulation, from black holes to time travel, Science Rave inspires and provokes kids with the issues and discoveries they will face in their future. As Lynda sings in her song Player – 'If you want to be a player in this high tech world, you've got to get down and wrap your mind around Science!'
